Modern Evil Press – Online Comics

Okay, here goes: Dr. Lobster (and Steve) were originally characters in a popular online comic called Dr. Lobster and Steve. The comic was not actually about Dr. Lobster OR Steve, and in fact they only appeared in one panel of one comic before I stole them for my own purposes. The friendly folks who created Dr. Lobster and Steve have pulled a series of pranks on their readers over the years, the most recent of which is that you can’t access their site at all. Anyway, the entire Dr. Lobster/Steve/Twix saga sortof explains where Dr. Lobster came from and where twix came from at the same time. This is supposed to be ironic, since neither character is my own to decide the history of. Anyway, I hope you enjoy the story. I know I did.

So, I can’t offer you any explanation for the artstyle in this comic except that I must have been trying to do the strip in Illustrator instead of Photoshop.

Which is really no excuse.
